• Gimp downloads its dmg, then unloads its install dirve. Double click that and you get file with the GIMP icon inside. Dragged this to the Applications folder. I got the work around for opening even though it is an unrecognized developer.

Gimp Digitizer

Anyone interested in graphic art or making their own web page MUST HAVE THIS software! It's like adobe (the stuff people pay hundreds of dollars for) but free. Perfect blend of an intuitive interface and total customizability. Supports a ton of file formats, layers, everything. Amazing!

It's amazing what you can do in Gimp that other graphics programs don't come close to. Everyday I learn something new that is helpful. It's become the only graphics editor that I use, on both Windows and Linux.

I used Photoshop for a while and the Gimp is a nice Legal replacement it would be nice if one can get more plugins for the program.I've some problems with the font's.It closes the program when you scroll trough the different fonts P.P

The Gimp is the best free image editor, I have ever come across (and believe me, I've been searching for a good image editor for a LONG TIME). Whoever created it is GREAT!!!

Gimp is an awsome program you just gotta mess around with it and get things figured out. You Gotta spend time to understand the program and what it can do.
